Safety Back Support Belt
Support belts are used in several areas including healthcare, construction, transportation, agriculture, commerce, warehouse/management of materials and road construction. The combination of education and support has proven to work very well for back injuries.
The belt has been tested in all occupations where the back is burdened, with convincing results. Injuries have been significantly reduced, as has sick leave, which both companies and employees benefit from.

For best result we recommend that all workers within a group use the support belt. The belt is easy to wear and enables full mobility. The shoulder straps help keep the belt in place. The support belt has a”stand-by setting” and a work setting. In the latter setting the belt is easily fastened over the hips and lumbar. The belt at the same time works as a reminder to use the correct movement techniques. The belt lends active support for, for example, lifting and moving without it feeling like ”additional equipment”, and is usefully used as a natural part of the work clothes.



How Safety Back Support Belt works
When correctly used your support belt will keep the natural S-shape of the back in the right position. Moreover, when the side support is moved from the passive to the active setting, it will act as a reminder to use the correct techniques while lifting.

Knowledge needs to be maintained and resources should be used correctly and used daily. We recommend that all workers within a group participate in the training which is part of our work environment program. When new members of staff are hired or when tasks at work change, it is important to make sure that the knowledge remains.

N.B. This product will not increase the lifters ability to lift things that are too heavy. Not adhering to the correct instructions for carrying and lifting can lead to injuries. Pregnant women and people who have or have had back injuries or other medical problems should consult a physician before using the belt.
